Corpus Christi Raspas

There are only 2 ways to beat the summer heat in Corpus Christi - air conditioning and raspas (a South Texas snow cone). As a part of MiLB’s Copa de la Diversion initiative, the Hooks celebrated the icy treat by becoming the Corpus Christi Raspas for a 3-game series in July of 2018.

The original brick red uniform and tri-color raspa hat was the first uniform to stray from the Hooks original red, white, and blue aesthetic. We followed up this burst of color with an electric blue theme in 2019 and lime green in 2021.
